Hosteria Grappolo d’Oro was founded in the early 1900’s in association with the historical Roman Confraternita dei Macellai. Since then, we have been a point of reference for authentic dishes in Rome.


Located in the heart of the eternal city, next to Campo De’ Fiori in Piazza della Cancelleriaour restaurant offers ample seating indoors in two separate rooms and a smaller outdoor section where all of our clients are met with the highest standard of kind and professional service.

Our true strength is found in the virtue of our authentic dishes, a fusion of traditional and innovative classics. We propose high quality Roman and regional plates: carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, coda alla vaccinara, polpette di bollito, agnello al forno, baccalà alla romana along with many other time-honored recipes. 

The menu is periodically revised, with the inclusion of daily specials in accordance with the current season which each fresh ingredient is sourced from small local producers.

Accompanied by a vast wine list, an excellent selection of regional, domestic and foreign. 

From the start we have embraced the philosophy by using top quality, local fresh products and since been rewarded with features in the most prominent food guides in the industry, one of particular note is the "Osteria d’Italia" Slow Food edition.
